CarComplaints.com Notes: A frustrating electrical issue is causing an ever-present “door ajar” warning light for 2011-2013 Ford Edge owners. Even with the doors latched shut, faulty sensors convince the vehicle’s computer they aren’t. With no way to override the system, owners have no choice but to stare at the warning light, listen to the warning chimes when the car is stopped, and deal with interior lights that won’t shut off.

2012 Ford Edge. Consumer writes in regards to several safety problems and seeks financial compensation or vehicle replaced. The consumer stated the my touch screen would go black, and lock up. Also, the brakes did not engage, which resulted in an accident. The problem was determined to be the brake booster. The vehicle showed a front collision system fault, the navigation was stuck. Also, when the consumer shut the vehicle off, a shift to park signal illuminated on the dashboard display, and she was unable to turn off the light in the vehicle. Updated 03/27/14
