Had put the e-brake on my car before going into work, when I came out for lunch I noticed after I took off the e-brake the brake pedal went all the way down into the floor. I checked my fluids and noticed it was completely drained so I poured at least another 16 to 18 ounces back in. When I pressed the brake pedal it seemed to work for like 5 seconds and then went all the way down to the floor again, I then checked underneath and a considerable amount of liquid was actively leaking out from underneath my engine bay on the passenger side. (It could have been near the right wheel, I'm not 100% sure). Sure enough I checked the fluids again and all I had just poured into the container had leaked all onto the ground within seconds. I nearly got into a huge wreck because I virtually had no brakes, thankfully the last inch on the brake pedal somehow had enough fluid to stop me in time from slamming into oncoming traffic pulling out from the parking lot. Could this be a typical problem on most vehicles? Sure. Could this be because of bad maintenance intervals by the previous owner? Most likely. But I'd rather warn people who have this vehicle or considering buying this vehicle before hand so if it is a vehicle defect it doesn't get somebody seriously hurt or even killed. Please be safe out there, everyone.
