Recently, my husband and I purchased a 2018 Ford Escape with approximately 19,000 Miles. It's in great condition.
The first 3 days went perfect without any indication of any problems. On day 4 I started the Ford Escape in the morning, getting ready for the day ahead. I sat in the car, pressed on the brakes and adjusted the music. Again. No indication of any issues. I began driving through the neighborhood toward the exit which leads to an intersection when I quickly realized the brakes were gone! NO BRAKES! AND I WAS HEADING RIGHT FOR A INTERSECTION. I COULD NOT STOP.
The brakes were completely seized up. NO amount of pushing would make the brake pedal go down. THIS IS A CATASTROPHIC BREAK FAILURE AND I WAS GOING TO DIE OR KILL SOMEONE ELSE. THE EXCAPE WOULD NOT STOP! I HAD NO TIME TO THINK! And by God's grace, I survived and no one was injured. I have never been so scared in all my life. It was your WORST horror movie / nightmare come true!
