I procured this vehicle the last week of August 2018. This incident has occurred three times in the last two months, once in November and twice in December with the latest incident happening on 12/24/2018. What I have noticed, it happened each time in the morning, but I imagine it could happen while driving. I live on a graveled road and each time the engine revved up on it own, exceeding 6000 RPM's, it was enough to spin the rear tires and throw gravel. Each time I engaged the brake and the engine RPM lowered. I noticed a few other Ford 150 owner's had similar problems. Ford need to look into this issue.
