CarComplaints.com Notes: Ford significantly updated the Fusion for the 2010 model year. We wish they hadn't
Throttle body issues have led to a ton of reports about a sudden deceleration and loss of power while driving. Ford issued a “customer satisfaction program” in March 2014 that, unsurprisingly, has left very few customers satisfied.
2010 is also the year we started seeing complaints about the power steering failing. Throttle and steering failure? Yeah, that’s why this is a clunker.

I have been having issues with my brakes for about 3 years. I have read other's complaints and it seems the problem still exist after the hydraulics have been replaced. I have new pads calipers and rotors, and still have issues with my brakes going to the floor. If I hit a slick spot or a bump in the road - they will go completely to the ground and I have to start pumping them and sometimes they return but most often I have had to pull over and turn off my car. This seems to reset the brakes and after a few pumps they will return...
I almost rear ended another car two weeks ago because I hit a very small hole in the road while I was applying my brakes to stop. I have read many reports where Ford motors are replacing the hydraulics on these cars and they people are saying that the issue is still there. What will it take for these dealerships to do the right thing? And I must agree with the others that they are horrible when you go in to see them - not helpful at all. I pray that if someone dies because of this issue that the family files the biggest lawsuit to put all the dealerships out of commission.
