2010 is also the year we started seeing complaints about the power steering failing. Throttle and steering failure? Yeah, that’s why this is a clunker.

Takata recall it has been almost a year since Ford notified me of this recall as of yet my local dealer does not have necessary parts to make the needed repair how much longer must I wait? Ford authorized a rental car however my dealer has none available. Perhaps this recall is not as urgent as believed to be.

Takata recall: Recall notice from Ford states, "if you require a rental vehicle while waiting for parts to become available for your vehicle, please contact your local Ford or Lincoln dealer." A call to customer service claims that you are only authorized to receive a rental car while your car is at the dealer actually being repaired. You do not receive a rental car while "while waiting for parts to become available..." as described in the letter.
Takata recall, my vehicle is a 2010 Ford Fusion with the takata airbag recall notice. The vehicle is 9 years old and I have not received a notice to have any recall work done to fix this problem. Ford is still building new vehicles but not addressing a serious safety recall. So basically nothing has happened to fix the problem!
Takata recall recall 18V-046, I waited over a year since the settlement to get this corrected, Ford was to provide a rental vehicle until the parts were available, I was able to get the parts on order Nov 17th, 2018. The parts are still not in and now Ford informed me they no longer provide a rental. Obviously this is due to costs, what is the price for someone's life should this defect lead to a death during an accident. Please confirm you received this correspondence, I need to document that this safety issue is being disregarded.

Takata recall - my local Ford dealer, fairway Ford in evans Georgia 30809, cannot replace my airbag due to parts not available. They cannot give me a date when they will have parts. My understanding was that the southern states based on high temperature and humidity should take priority. Can you tell me when a replacement airbag will be available.
Takata recall. I received two letters in the mail from Ford discussing the need to recall and replace the airbags in my vehicle, dated approximately February and March 2018. The letters indicated that I would be notified at a later date as to when and where I could take my vehicle to have the airbags replaced. Since then, I have not received any documentation or updates on the matter and have not received any direction on replacing my airbags. It has been over a year now since Ford has issued this recall and they still have done nothing.
