I do not understand why the car would decelerate when I am trying to accelerate. I jumped on the highway accelerating to 55 mph. Then all of a sudden, the car starts decelerating on its own, and the engine sounds like it is "coughing", trying to remain on. I pulled to the side of the highway. The instant that I did that, the engine shuts off. The batteries are still working, the lights are still functioning. So what the f%ck is wrong? And I am seeking help, but no one wants to help. Everyone is looking to rip me off because they know I have limited knowledge about cars. I wish someone would just help me out. Is there anyone out there willing to help me and give me advice? I know, it's wishful thinking.
