ANNOUNCEMENT: The Car Book 2018 is now online!

Ratings on over 1,000 new & used models going back 5 years, from the Center from Auto Safety. Learn more about The Car Book 2018 here. Notes: Some people think the seats in the 2015 Accord are uncomfortable, which is a problem that has plagued the Accord since 2008.

However our opinion is the seats have gotten better, & aside from that issue, the 2015 model year seems relatively trouble free.

problem #2

Jul 012016

Accord EXL

  • Automatic transmission
  • 26,000 miles

Car battery died after leaving door open for less than 5 minutes, had to get it towed to the dealership only to be told it had a 100% battery life and they can't find the issue. Again car died and was taken into Honda to be told the same thing again. Car is always dying and its progressively worse.

Accord EX-L 2.4L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 5,000 miles

On two different occasions a month or more apart, I got in to start the car and the battery was totally dead. No lights were on and no reason for it to fail. The second time, I took it to the dealer and they searched for hours (or so they claimed) and said there was no leakage current whatsoever. And the charger was working properly.

Anyway it hasn't happened since, but I still don't trust it.
