The contact owns a 2015 Honda Accord equipped with vredestein N/a, tire line: Quatrac 5xl N/a, tire size: 215/55R17, dot number: V3R/0000/4918. The contact stated that while driving approximately 55 mph the vehicle's tire walls on the front passenger tire disintegrated. The vehicle swerved off the side of the road. The contact had to replace the tire and place the spare on the vehicle. The contact contacted the tire dealer (tire rack located at 7101 virden pkwy, South bend, in 46628; (574) 287-2345) who informed the contact that the tire needed to be replaced. The tires had not been replaced as of yet. The manufacturer was contacted, however, the contact had not heard back from the manufacturer. The approximate failure mileage of the vehicle was 60,000 and the approximate failure mileage of the tire was 5,000. The VIN was not available.

The contact owns a 2015 Honda Accord equipped with Continental conti pro contact tires, size: 235/40R1996V (na). The contact heard an abnormal clicking, rubbing noise coming from the tires. The contact stated that the noise was overbearing and would not relent. There were no warning indicators illuminated. The vehicle was taken to concord Honda (1461 concord ave, concord, ca 94520, (855) 679-6829), but was not diagnosed or repaired. The service adviser stated that the tire did not match the wheel and this was a known issue with the manufacturer. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and did not assist. The vehicle failure mileage was 20,420. The tire failure mileage was unknown.
