Summary
SERVICE NEWS ARTICLE - IS THE TRANSMISSION FLUID PAN LEAKING FROM A CRACK? CHANCES ARE YOUR CUSTOMER ACCIDENTLY RAN OVER SOMETHING THAT DROVE THE LOWER ENGINE COVER UP INTO THE TRANSMISSION FLUID PAN. THE COVERÂ’S FRONT CLIP, WHICH IS MADE OF METAL, CRACKED THE PAN FROM THE IMPACT. WHEN REPLACING THE TRANSMISSION FLUID PAN, BE SURE TO REPLACE THE LOWER ENGINE COVER (P/N 74110-T2F-A01) AS WELL. THE REPLACEMENT LOWER ENGINE COVER ELIMINATES THE FRONT HOLE AND CLIP AND REPLACES THE METAL CLIP FOR THE SECOND HOLE WITH ONE MADE OF RESIN.
