Loved the car, I've owned it for a year and it just dawned on me driving 2hrs/day in it that it's hurting my back. I tried all sorts of positions to adjust it but I am 6'1" and my head is either very close to the ceiling or I low riding like a thug. No position really seems to help and I am considering selling the car because of how much I have to drive...

Horribly uncomfortable seats discovered after purchasing the 2018 Accord EX. The dealership and Honda Corporation are ignoring the problem! Don’t buy it! You’ll be sorry!

The day I bought the car I thought I was sitting on something under the seat. Turns out after the 5 hour drive home I was miserable. My tail bone was killing me. The seats were lumpy, bumpy and extremely uncomfortable.
Tried to get Frank Brown Honda to do something. They refused saying it was just the seams in the fabric on the seat and the Honda Corporation had been contacted and was not willing to repair or replace it. The Dallas dealership was contacted to return the car. IT IS THAT BAD!

The car seats are extremely uncomfortable. I love the car except for the seats. My back pain is really, really bad. If I trade in I will lose money. I cannot re upholster because it would potentially cause problem with airbag height, seat belts, AC/heating etc.

Bought a brand new 2018 Honda Accord 2.0T and loved it, until I was in it for a 40 mile drive. The seat was very uncomfortable and I tried every one of the 10 position seat comfort adjustments. The edges of the seat, which the salesman said was designed to hold me in began to be so annoying I could not pay attention to driving because of the discomfort. I brought the car back to the dealer after trying and thinking of everything possible to fix the problem, including calling an auto upholstery shop to have the seat taken apart and re-stuffed. The dealer was glad to take the car back on another vehicle. So, he gives me $26,000 trade in on a car I just paid $29,000 for, I lost my $5,000 original trade in and the sales tax, state registration tax, and dealer fees, in all about $7,500. So I guess I could tack all that on to the expense of the new 2018 Honda Pilot the dealer sold me, which was more expensive but MUCH more comfortable. Moral of this story (nightmare)

If i drive about 30 minutes or more my bad hurts, really Uncomfortable Seats. Disappointed. My previous car was a Honda Accord 2003 and those seats were the best.

I purchased this car because my new job has me driving long distances on a regular basis. On my first long trip (1.5 hours one way) I returned home with EXCRICIATING back pain. My car only has 677 miles on it, and I am considering selling it at a loss the problem is that bad. To say I am disappointed is a HUGE understatement.

The design of the car seat can cause major back issue as is my wife's case after driving long distance to commute for several weeks.
Never had this back pain issue with other cars we have owned.

I get terrible pain in legs, especially left leg, and buttocks when driving this car. I have tried every variation of seat adjustments (and I do have lumbar support) and pillows, but no help. My physical therapist says it is best to sit with spine and legs at 90 degrees, head straight on top of spine. This car seat forces head forward and butt lower than knees. After several months, I gave up - it's making me miserable. I was luckily able to go back to old car which is more comfortable.
I have also tried most of the other IIHS TSP sedans and would really like to have the newer safety devices (like back up camera, adaptive cruise, lane keeping assist, blind spot alerts) but all seem to be just as uncomfortable.
Can't our engineers manage to meet safety AND comfort needs?
