I thought Honda was a reliable car. I bought this one used with 70000 and drove seamlessly for 40k. All the dash lights came on and the car went into limp mode after a loud noise came from within the hood. I scheduled with the dealership as it was the only place to get in immediately. They came up that it was the injectors were bad and after the repair, the time was off on my computer indicating they unplugged the battery. And like magic and after $2500, the lights were off the dash. I immediately noticed a rough startup and brought it back a day later and had it rechecked. They again said no problem. Two days later all the lights back flashing on and car in limp mode. Now they say head gasket needs replacing and the total cost is up to $5500 but they misdiagnosed the injectors so they will credit what I have already paid. HELP!!!! Don’t buy these cars. Honda. Reliable, my butt.

I own a Honda Accord 2018 engine 1.5T . I bought this car brand new from dealership. All of a sudden the car lost power, I was on the freeway with my two boys and could no longer accelerate along with some shaking. Suddenly all lights from head board turned on. I next took in to the dealership where I had purchased the car from. They made diagnostic, and told me that they checked the cylinder head and found water dripping down and that the head gasket need replacement. That’s bullshit, this should be a recall. This car is trash after fully paying off the vehicle it should last me longer than 5 years. How does this all of a sudden happen, the car is no good and would recommend everyone to look somewhere else besides Honda. This is a manufacture problem, and should be taken care of it by them. Very frustrating.
