I purchased my vehicle from Lithia, Inc. d/b/a Wilde Honda in Waukesha, Wisconsin new. Wilde Honda serviced the vehicle on [XXX], after I reported that all lights in the vehicle were coming on. In addition, I experienced an incident on the highway where my car failed to accelerate, putting me in extreme danger. On [XXX], after my vehicle was returned to me, I experienced substantially similar issues immediately, with the same problems accelerating, all of the dash lights coming on, and a rumbling and jittering sound when the vehicle was first started. Wild Honda charged me $4,956.36 for repairs, which did not resolve any issues. I wrote to Alex Reed of Wilde Honda regarding these issues. Mr. Reed assured me that the underlying problem was resolved by replacing a fuel injector, and I was charged an additional $350. On [XXX], I again experienced the same dangerous issue where all the lights came on. Once again, I found myself on the highway, unable to accelerate and faced with a dangerous situation. I have made repeated demands to Lithia to reimburse me for the repairs charged to me, as well as for the fair market value of my vehicle as it can no longer be operated safely. Lithia d/b/a Wilde Honda has made no efforts to resolve this situation and disclaims all responsibility. After researching this issue, I discovered that In October 2018, American Honda notified dealerships that vehicles equipped with a 1 1.5L turbo direct-injection engine -??may experience engine oil dilution-?? and that this -??may result in increased oil level and can cause a [cylinder] misfire-?? and cause a variety of symptoms including a check light indicator due to an engine misfire, a low oil pressure light, and abnormal engine noises. In fact, American Honda reached out and requested that dealerships contact them if the dealerships came across similar issues that plagued my vehicle as American Honda was trying to determine the underlying issue. The vehicle started idling rough and would seem like it was going to stall out. Eventually every light came on in the dash board and when I brought it to the shop, the head gasket had blown. This is a 2018 Honda accord with 99k miles. Regular maintenance has always been maintained. Upon doing research, a lot of people with this make/ model and low mileage have had this same issue. This appears to be a mechanical issue caused by the manufacturer.
Hello, I-??m submitting this complaint regarding the Head Gasket issue being Blown out on my Vehicle, it only had (136,656) miles and has a good service and maintenance history which should have prevented the Head Gasket from blowing out, however I was informed by the Honda Service Advisor that this is an ongoing issue and that they are seeing much more of these vehicles coming in with a blown Head Gasket, unfortunately I had no other choice but to purchase a used engine and make the immediate repairs because Honda-??s Head Gasket-??s are in a serious Back order due to the aforementioned issue effecting many other Honda owners.

Took my car for recall last week. Dealership isn't helping me. Spend so much money to fix something that's defecting parts of my engine. But dealership is ignoring me.

Additionally, the Forward Collision Avoidance: Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure, and Collision Mitigation Braking system features were inoperable. The vehicle also experienced a loss of motive power while driving. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was diagnosed that the head gasket needed to be replaced. Car would shake in the morning would wait till warmed. Immediately brought to Honda where I had a diagnostic completed approx. 9/3. Reports says head gasket. Car well taking care (maintenance) no reason for blown head gasket. Got a second opinion They had the car for a week. No warning lights, and did another diagnostic and nothing showed at the time. Brought the car home. After a few months waiting for warning sign or other signs it took a couple of few months for the engine light to come on and it slowed down and came to a stop. Had car towed to Honda. Called Honda corporate. After finding out they weren't going to cover the cost of $5000+ knowing this has absolutely nothing to do with the customer being negligent with car. I can not afford that kind of money and had it towed to the same mechanic where we are still waiting for the parts to come in from Honda factory and it's been in his possession for 2 weeks. I had to get a rental which Honda would not cover. There is no way that a car that is 5years old under 80,000 miles should have engine work unless it was not cared for properly. I have proof of continuous maintenance. I should not be held reliable for malfunction parts on the car and other Hondas are having the same issues. It was very dangerous and scary having the car shake when driving and not being abled to accelerate on the gas with no warning of any. I had it towed 2x to 3x waiting and praying that Honda will be responsible.

Fuel pump or injector has malfunctioned. It is has already been inspected by a Honda dealer. Safety at risk because there was a recall on the fuel system of Hondas in 2020. I purchased this vehicle in 2021 and was not made aware. The vehicle could stall and cause an accident. No other problem currently reported on the vehicle. I was just sitting in a parking space when the engine light came on.
The vehicle has been giving a check engine light and a litany of other warning lights including: electric power steering system problem, brake system problem, forward collision mitigation braking system problem, tire pressure monitoring system problem, adaptive cruise control system problem, traction control system problem. This issue happened intermittently at first including the warning lights, then constantly beginning about 3 weeks ago. The check engine light produced a P0304 code indicating a misfire on cylinder 4. The vehicle on cold start would idle rough indicating the misfire and idle at a higher RPM than normal. The vehicle would return to idling normally after approximately 15 minutes of warming up however all the lights would stay on. The vehicle felt like it was down on power, was running rough, and could go into limp mode at any time while the issue was present and significantly reduced the driveability and all of these other warning lights were on indicating potential problems with those systems. I had the vehicle inspected by a Honda dealership and two different master technicians have diagnosed it as a fuel injector issue, although they thought it could have been a head gasket issue as well and in fact have not ruled that out entirely at this point. This is a known issue with this vehicle shown by AHM putting out a request for parts from 2018-2019 1.5 Liter engine Accords affected by a P030X (Cylinder 1,2,3, or 4 misfire) code back in April.
Began getting several alerts, when taken in to get a diagnosis I received the following error codes P0301, P0304, P0301, P0300, U0401-68 & U3003-16. These codes stated that I had Cylinder 1 Misfire, Cylinder 4 Misfire as well as Random Misfire and ECM Failure and Electric Parking Brake Control Unit Power Source Circuit Low Voltage. The misfires were taken care of with new ignition coils and spark plugs; however, 2 days later alerts came back on at that point replaced battery. A few days after that the alerts again came back on. The dealership has not helped me out much simply saying I am no longer under warranty. However, I feel this vehicle is unsafe to drive as sometimes it feels as if it is just going to shut off. Therefore, this can possibly cause an accident injuring either. Others or myself.
All warning lights came on and I took the car to get checked out. Head gasket is damaged. Honda dealership has performed all service on vehicle. Gasket shows signs of premature deterioration. Very expensive repair for a know problem. This should be a recall item as there are numerous complaints with this model.

I am terrified by the incident and it has cause me so much anxiety and stress.
