The contact-€™s mother owns a 2019 Honda Accord. The contact stated on multiple occasions while the accelerator pedal was depressed, the vehicle jolted back and forth. The check engine warning light also illuminated while accelerating. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the brake booster assembly needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. Neither the dealer nor the manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 55,000.
