Both tie-rods need to be changed within the next two months as they are slightly loose and this is a critical part of the steering. this must not be neglected as a repair. I'm getting a second opinion from my personal mechanic after receiving the diagnosis from the Honda dealer. It is expensive. in Canada, the repair is $780+tx for the two new tie-rods plus an alignment at $129+tx. My mileage is not high but road conditions in Quebec are bad which may be a factor. However, there are reported issues with this Accord generation of loosening tie-rods. It is covered by extended warranty but my 6 year extended warranty has expired. I'm surprised that the tie-rods needed to be changed this soon.
