Seems to be a recurring problem with most CR-V model years. Expensive to repair.

Update from Feb 8, 2018: This repair was for the driver's side door lock. Replacing the actuator and lever arm system allows the door to be unlocked with the remote fob. But, the actual lock mechanism is still jambed.

My driver side auto lock does not always work, and at times I had to resort to using the key to manually lock or unlock the drivers door. When the key would not open or lock the door I had to enter the passenger door and manually lock or open the drivers door. This was and still is a real pain in the ass.
