There's a recall for this exact issue in Canada but not in the US. Luckily, I was only travelling about 30 mph and on a straightaway, so I was able to safely pull off the road. There are many complaints on the internet. What does it take for Honda to realize that this is an extremely dangerous flaw? My mechanic told me that it might not be possible to safely repair it.
