The rear brakes failed inspection. The pads and rotors were metal on metal after just 35,000 miles. Rear pads should last forever! The rotors were also rusted and destroyed. Honda covered rotors and labor under warranty. I had to pay for pads (why?).

I have had the car just shy of three years and have it serviced regularly. Tires have at least another year and a half wear. Now to have all four rotors replaced due to rust is definitely disappointing, as well as, an unexpected cost. But the safety of me, my grands and others are more important than cost.

I feel that this is definitely a manufacturer problem and Honda needs to rise to the occasion!

I have had no other complaints or disappointments with Honda in my eight years of driving the Accord and CRV.
