Honda has tried to fix this delayed acceleration with a software update, but many owners report it didn't fix the problem.
This defect trend is not quite bad enough yet for us to slap on the "Beware of the Clunker" seal. But it's a concern & definitely something to keep in mind for a test drive.
Not being able to get out of the vehicle if you are a back seat passenger can be very dangerous, especially if you have to leave quickly. To get out of the back seat of my car, you have to roll down the window and reach your hand down to the handle to lift up, or driver and front seat passenger have to let you out. I bought the car used from Holler used car dealership Winter Park FL April 2017. we though at first the child safety was on. but after making sure it was not. after unlocking the doors automatically and manually they still will not open on either side of the car.
