CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 Honda CR-V has a trend of engine hesitation when accelerating.

Honda has tried to fix this delayed acceleration with a software update, but many owners report it didn't fix the problem.

This defect trend is not quite bad enough yet for us to slap on the "Beware of the Clunker" seal. But it's a concern & definitely something to keep in mind for a test drive.

I have had constant issues with the tire pressure monitoring (TPMS) system on my new CRV. The light illuminates randomly when my tire pressure is fine. It sometimes does not illuminate when my tire pressure is not fine. It has been in for repairs 6 or 7 times and there is no fix identified yet. I am left not knowing whether my tires are properly inflated or not. Honda is aware of the safety issue but not able to correct (or willing to refund).

This is a supplement to 10615142 filed earlier. The TPMS on my CR-V does not work. Honda can not keep it operating even after 6-8 shop repairs. While this would be dangerous, I am beginning to wonder if the "electronic stability system". and. The "anti-lock brake system". are also inoperable!!! they would seem to use same "inputs" as TPMS "??" this may be far more serious than I first thought it was!!!

The TPMS light turns on repeatedly. Approx 6-8 trips back to tameron Honda. They are willing, and have done something "new" on each visit. Now has 4500 miles and the light is on again. Back to shop for new trials. Honda must have some pretty weak engineers to not solve this problem. ( nearly 50 complaints at this site ). when light comes on..? is there a failure on a tire or. The nagging light again.

My Honda CRV was broken into while on vacation in Florida. I was only about 300 feet away from the car but was not notified by the alarm. I came back to see glass all over the floor, my personal belongings gone from the car. As a previous owner of a newly purchased Honda Odyssey, I felt that the car had alarm as the key has remote lock and and unlock functions and the car even sounded a familiar arming sound when remotely locked. When I went into a dealer in Florida to inquire why the alarm did not work, they told me that the car had passive alarm, which means that the alarm should sound if the glass is broken. Upon returning to New York, I went to the dealer where I purchased the car and they told me the car has no alarm, and that the familiar sound is just to indicate to me that all four doors are locked! at no time during the sales transaction was I told that the car has no alarm or that I needed to purchase an alarm.
