CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 Honda CR-V has a trend of engine hesitation when accelerating.

Honda has tried to fix this delayed acceleration with a software update, but many owners report it didn't fix the problem.

This defect trend is not quite bad enough yet for us to slap on the "Beware of the Clunker" seal. But it's a concern & definitely something to keep in mind for a test drive.

It's a driveshaft issue with low mileage. It looks like there is a recall on other Honda models for driveshaft for these years, related to lubricant used in those years (from what I read). I suspect where there is an issue with this model, there are similar issues with other models like the cr-v.

Rear driveshaft started making noise at 35000 miles. Was replaced under warranty. Makes me a little nervous that this happened with so few miles. I've already priced out and looked into how much it would cost me to do myself next time after warranty runs out.
