My wife’s CRV has developed a squeak under the hood, like a bearing is starting to go. I brought it to Windsor Honda Monday morning 0800 (Wrong thing to do) and they first asked when do you need the car back and I said ASAP, he told they would look at the car immediately. At 3 pm they called me and told me that the mechanic is just starting to look at it and he believes he needs to take off the serpentine belt a check things out and we will have to charge you a hr service charge at 125.00/hr. I said what does asap mean to you and he gave me some lame excuse. Anyways in about 20 min they called back and told me that the tensioner is bad and it will require another hr service charge and the part is 500$ special order from Toronto and they need to keep the car 1 more day. At the same time I looked up the tensioner on Amazon.com and it was 82.00 from a Honda parts depot in South Carolina, so I told him no thanks I’ll do it myself. So at 5pm I picked up our CRV and ordered the part it was in in 2 days and I put it on and it’s still squeaking, so moral of the story you are not getting a quality vehicle when you buy a Honda and don’t take your car to Windsor Honda!!!!!

loud rattling noise coming from the rear of the vehicle

My 2015 CRV besides having the powertrain vibration issue has a known rattling noise coming from the trunk area. I have informed my Honda Service Manager of this problem and the dealership has told me that this is known problem by Honda manufacture and at this time there is not a solution for this issue. This rattling noise occurs when driving around town below 40 mph and going over bumps, it sounds like the rattling is coming from the rear hatch door, my kids notice the noise in the center of the trunk area. I have to crank up the radio to silence the noise. Once again I have to continue paying for a vehicle with many unresolved resolutions. I will never purchase another Honda again.

Please assist.
