My right front studded snow tire ( purchased Oct of 2008) suddenly lost air on an interstate highway. I pulled over and the tire was half down. I went back to the seller today and they said I needed a new tire $97 and they have valve stems that go bad all the time.
Kelly tire 195 65 R14 one tire came apart on freeway, one had a very large bump, one had a broke belt and one was wearing real bad on the rear. They were one approx. 2-3 months old. It was aligned by purcell tire in princenton, ky were I purchased the tires.
Sign of cracking is showing on front and rear drivers side tires on a 2001, Hyundai, Elantra; original equipment, tire size P195/60R14, dot# hnbhbm8X389. Dealer/manufacturer were notified. Michelin xgt tires, tire store stated the 2 front tires would be replaced free of charge if the consumer purchased 2 rear tires, consumer declined.
2000 Hyundai, Elantra, original equipment, tire size 195/60R14, at 14,000 miles both front tires had to be replaced because of tire blistering, at 16,900 miles consumer replaced the left rear tire due to a blowout.
Michelin all season steel belted tire (P195 60 R14) experienced blowout, the blowout caused the consumer to lose control of the vehicle and crash into a concrete divider, during this the airbag experienced no deployment, the vehicle is a total loss because of the accident.
