In over 45 years of owning vehicles, I have never seen anything like this! The paint just starts to peel off and next thing you know, its huge. This will lead to rust, not to mention it looks awful. I feel robbed as this is a manufacturing defect that needs to be addressed and fixed! I am sure I just lost 1/3 of the value of the car due to this! Went to the Hyundai dealership today and they said "Nothing we can do".
This car is the 2nd Elantra that we have owned. Will be the LAST if they do not fix it. And getting ready to purchase another car for my other daughter. Won't be a Hyundai!
Update from Feb 17, 2024: It is actually a 2016, not a 2015
