CarComplaints.com Notes: There's no way around it, the Cherokee's transmission is junk. There's no other explanation for why a vehicle, usually with under 40,000 miles, would have so many complaints

Reprogram occupant restraint control module- I got a safety recall notice and contacted the service department at interstate Dodge in West monroe and the lady said that the computers were down and she took my name and number and she would call me when the computers come back up. Well that was on March 10,2015 and today is March 25,2015 and no one has yet to call me. This is not the only problem with my vehicle I believe there are two other recalls that need attention. I know everyone is busy but I don't want my vehicle to have mechanical problems and then I'm stuck out in no mans land and this is my only means of transportation so I need my vehicle to go to work. I hope you can help me to get a hole of this dealership and have them contact me.

Service airbag light will periodically go on and off. Contacted dealer who replaced sensors in both passenger and driver side seatbelts but this did not fix issue. Dealer now will be removing seats to trace wires for system to look for loose connections. While the light is on the dealer has stated that the airbags may fail to deploy.

I was driving 50 mpg on highway 1 to Alaska through Canada, and my side airbags deployed without any reason, and my belts blocked. I contacted Chrysler and after 10 days they told me that my car was in 52 degrees angle at the moment of deployment and they are not responsible for it. There is even a little scratch on my car and I was driving straight when it happen.
