Just purchased this Jeep and the hood flutters at highway speed. I took it to a dealership and they informed me that it is a common issue with the 2019 Jeep Cherokee. They adjusted the hood and replaced the hood latch as recommended by the bulletin that’s out on the problem. Once they adjusted it enough to stop the fluttering, the hood didn’t align correctly. When they adjusted it to align corrected the hood started fluttering again! They said there is nothing they can do because this is a factory defect!! I am so irritated!!

While driving at highway speeds mostly, hood jumps up and down when a gust of wind or Truck passes. Took to dealer and they didn't know what to do and said they would check on it but after repeated contact with them nothing got nothing done (Yakima, WA jeep dealer). It makes me feel like it is going to fly open it jumps so much. I checked on inside of the hood and it has already worn the metal down where the hood bumper hits it 3K miles I guess if it gets bad enough they can put new hood on later. Going into shop next week for air bag problem I'll ask them to check it again!
