Engine Won't Turn Over, Won't Start
2011 Kia Sorento
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Kia dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: Kia really changed the design of the Sorento in the 2011 model year. Instead of a truck-like body-on-frame more capable of offroad adventures, the newest Sorento is a unibody construction and is much more crossover than sport utility. The changes brought a whole slew of problems, including a frustrating problem where the door that won’t open. Is it too late to go back?

Push button start will not engage, even tried bypass. All other electrical systems functioning. Being towed to dealership now.
Update from Jan 30, 2016: After 10 days I finally got my car back. They found the ECU (Electronic Control Unit went bad). had to order a new one from CA., I'm in NC. A few days later they get the new part and put it in. Now the car turns over but wont start, not getting any fuel. After more searching they found the wiring harness had shorted out from something chewing through several wires. Now this had to be ordered, again from CA. Finally got it all together and running like a champ. They said the ECU was under warranty, but the bill if I had to pay would have been about $1300. The wiring harness bill I did have to pay and was just over $1000.
