Lost steering intermittently turning right. Left it with dealer for a week so they could duplicate it. The steering basically locked up briefly. I am not sure what they did to fix it but since then the steering has a high pitch whine. I took it back and they told me that it was "AN ACCEPTABLE LEVEL OF ELECTRICAL CURRENT" Now it did NOT WHINE before but now it does after being fixed. Nothing they can do they said. I call BS!!!

I need to add that I am a short little lady that they always treated like crap at auto shops and dealers, female must not know anything. BUT WHT THEY DO NOT KNOW IS THAT I OWNED A HONDA/ACURA REPAIR SHOP AND WORKED SERVICE AT HONDA SUBARU, RACED CARS, DIRT BIKE AND QUADS FOR YEARS, AND DROVE 10 CAR AUTO TRANSPORT ALL WHILE MAINTAING MY ACCOUNTING BUSINESS!!! I KNOW A LITTLE BIT ABOUT MECHANICS AND CARS!!!

I have not worked on cars since the 90's I must say. BUT I KNOW THAT IT DID NOT WHINE BEFORE AND IT IS ANNOYING AS HELL AND NO IT IS NOT AN "ACCEPTABLE ELECTERICAL NOISE LEVEL"

I should have asked them to replace the DIPSTICK RETURN SPRING AND SEE WHAT THEY SAY AND CHARGE FOR THAT!! FRUSTRATING!!

Now 2023 and finding I am not the only one with whinney steering!!!
