This data is from the NHTSA — the US gov't agency tasked with vehicle safety. Complaints are spread across multiple & redundant categories, & are not organized by problem.
So how do you find out what problems are occurring? For this NHTSA complaint data, the only way is to read through the comments below. Any duplicates or errors? It's not us.
Consumer owns a 1999 Nissan Quest and is inquiring about it's track record regarding any recalls or problems that may have occurred with this vehicle. While driving at low speeds like while driving out of a driveway the consumer heard a clunk in the front drivers side wheel. A ball joint was replaced but the noise returned in about two week.
While driving, the consumer lost control of the vehicle which came to a stop after spinning and crashing into a power pole, a possible reason to this crash was a loose nut on the suspension right front side wheel and a crack in the plate, the consumer sustained minor injuries due to the air bags deploying, which caused minor bruises in the arms.
