Cannot read the mileage completely, gas gauge does not register accurately and temperature gauge fades in and out.

Quest

  • Automatic transmission
  • 64,000 miles

The lights on the dash constantly go on and off and now they rarely come on at all. When the lights are out you can not see when the turn signals are turned on, how much fuel is in the car, how many miles the car has nor any other lights on the right side of the dash except one. The passenger airbag light does work for some odd reason. Any help is very helpful.

Quest SL 3,5

  • Automatic transmission

First I like to say is The problem is very simple. Remove The dash cover from the front.

Start from the bottom were the black trim is and be careful. It's only clips and you can remove them later on. There are three quick disconnects on the back. Only one controls the lights and the DOOR PROBLEMS WITH THE QUEST AND THE OVERDRIVE TURNS ON & OFF. The doors open & close without warning because there is a POWER SERGE in the system. Going back to the Quick Disconnect, unplug the 12 pin( 10 wires) located near the top in back and you can replace the AMP plug or make a 10 wire jumper. Very Simple.

I know about wires because of my job. I work with very big companys around the world.

You can get the part at TYCO ELECTRONICS or any company who sells male & female Quick Disconnects. You do have to send a photo of the male & female part because there is no # on it.

Any body who works on the Quest may e-mail me to say how they made out and I will be here to help you if t you need it.

Quest S 3.5L

  • Automatic transmission
  • 128,000 miles

When driving, the dash flashes on and off, especially at night. Cannot tell what my speed is, how much gas is in the car, and the air conditioner is set for one thing and it goes up and down. Really irritating. Can someone please tell me what could possibly be the problem.
