THIS IS TOO MUCH OF A COST FOR A MAJOR REPAIR THAT MOST OF THE OWNERS OF THIS SAME VEHICLE ARE HAVING AND THE MANUFACTURER NEEDS TO STEP UP AND FIX THIS BUY COMPENSATING THOSE WHO PAID OUT OF POCKET AND RECALL ALL VEHICLES WITH EXISTING PROBLEMS.

NOT EVERYTHING NEEDS TO GO TO COURT,RESPONSIBLE MANUFACTURERS CAN ALWAYS DO THE RIGHT THING AND SAVE EVERYBODY THIS UNNECESSARY STRESS.

The car would shift and buck going into reverse out of the driveway. Then when the accelerator was fully pressed on, the car would take over a minute to get to 30 mph. Then once the car was moving, it would stall and there would be no steering. It was VERY dangerous.

The car would stall when driven and buck when going above 20 mph. It would take over a minute to get to 20 mph when gas pedal was fully pressed down. When it would stall, I would lose all steering.

I believe a sensor somewhere is going out. The transmission intermittently will "miss" a shift, or come out of gear. If I let my foot off the gas and then give it gas again, it will sometimes "slam" in to gear. When it is acting up, it will also take a couple seconds to go in to drive from park or reverse, then it "slams" in to gear. It also is lacking in power, almost as if a vacuum advance was not working properly. This seems to happen when it is warm. Once, after replacing the battery the vehicle seemed to work fine for some time before starting to act up again.

My Quest drives good but some times it looses power and does not move, goes very slow. I took it to Nissan of Conyers and they told me it is a Vias Solenoid. By checking online with others who have the same problem, it seams to be the TCM. Can some one please advice on this problem .

While on a day trip with the family, my husband accelerated to get on interstate, van's rpm went to 5, while speed did not change. Husband says it was not going into overdrive. Pulled off the road, turned vehicle off and restarted, and everything worked okay. Day trip cancelled, due to fear of being 2 hours away and not being able to get home = very disappointed kids, as well as parents! Transmission fluid checked, everything fine there.

Every time the van is driven the issue occurs. When slowing down (to make a turn, etc) and then proceeding to accelerate, the van jerks hard, often times throwing lose objects to the floor. Does not shift. Also the mileage and fuel gauges do not work.

Always had transmission fluid changed every 30k miles at the dealer. After the last change, noticed that the transmission clunks when shifting into 5th gear at interstate speeds (65+). The issue does not always happen, but, sometimes and is annoying/concerning. Driven over a year and still no 'other' issue, just this continuing annoyance.

I purchase this car in 2007 with 35 miles on it, 6 month later the abs system died.. it still had the warranty left over so they fixed at no cost to me. 3 weeks later the warranty was gone.

Everytime u start the car a rattling noise occurs, the car has to run for 25-30 min before it stops. the oil is changed on a reg. The bushing went replaces for 300.00 (used) dealer $270 each.. alternator belt had to be changed. constantly changing the tires. the rack and pinion went $381.00 to repair (used) the was beyond expensive.

now the transmission and motor mounts. The car would only drive in reverse. This car has cost so much money. I have 3 kids and neices and nephews that depend on me. for 5 years to many problem for such an establised brand.. The worse was I tried to trade the vehicle in in 2009 and they told I had the top of the line, leather seating, dvd player heated seats automatic doors and trunk, which btw only work if the car is off. The eletrical system is done!! The dealer told me the car was only worth $5600.00 My loan was at $13000.00. I was pissed

Transmission will go into 3rd gear at start up. RPM will go up, van feels like has no power. It will get up to speed, but then won't go into over drive. There is a TSB out on this. Quick solution, per TSB, pull over, put in park, turn off then refire engine, put in gear and go. Has happened hit and miss for me, so far am not going to replace the 1200 dollar TCM. I have 150,000 miles on it and it takes every bit of my aggresive driving.
