First off I'm driving in a very remote area with children none the less and notice the center display on dash is reading differently than my gas gauge. I also noticed that I would need to get gas but should have plenty by center display reading to make it to next town safely. So with no other choice but to make it to the next station, I continue on. I make it exactly to the center of nowhere and the van dies. Again I'm left on side of the road with children. At this point I read my cluster panel to see that the center digital display reads 10 miles to empty while the gas gauge reads 1/4 of a tank. But I'm dead on side of road. After being lucky enough for some kind people to stop and offer gas I was back on the road again. However it happened again except this time gauge reads almost 1/2 tank and center display reads* indicating it's out of gas. So on the side of road again. I have had it with this vehicle!

car stalled due to no gas, low fuel light never went on

Car ran out of gas while I was on my way to the gas station. The gauge said I still had gas! I called Nissan Corp. that day and was told that my car had been recalled for gas tank/gauge replacement! Isn't it their responsibility to contact me? I was furious! When I got there I was told that I was not eligible for a rental for this recall! The hell I wasn't! Needless to say I got my rental and didn't pay for it.

Gas light never came on to say low on fuel. Was driving coming home from getting my kids from school and the car came to a complete stop in traffic. Thank God no one hit us from behind. It happened more than once. Finally had fuel pump replaced.
