Sense I bought the car the air bag light is blinking.with the airbag fuse in the indicator light blinks, with the fuse out it stays on solid.im not that familiar with how the air bag system works.it is a SRS airbag system.what can I do to get the light to turn off and be assured the system is working and will function properly incase of a accident?
Nissan Sentra car problem I have Nissan Sentra and had a problem on Jan 9, 2008. My wife driving car and suddenly both airbag blow out and broke front windshield glass. After this incident I contacted Nissan North America (1800nissan1) and submitted compliant (file# 6000221), after two week (Jan 21) Nissan send some one to inspect my car. During this time I call numerous times to get them repair car or give me rental car but they told me they are investigating problem so they can't do anything. I also called state farm and submitted claim for this accident. But since this is Nissan car defect I would like Nissan to fix this problem. Currently I don't have any car and I did not fix my car because I thought Nissan will fix this. Finally on Feb 09, 2008, I received letter from Nissan saying this is not their problem so then can not help me on this problem. I am worry about thousands of Nissan driver on the road and this can happen to anyone and can be a big accident. I would like to get help from you on this issue. Please let me know what I should do. Air bag light blinks constantly. Recommends service at dealership. We will be taking to dealership soon, but initial inquiry indicates they will not cover this under warranty (phone call, web searches, etc.).
Air bag light came on and would not go off. Took car to dealership and was informed that airbag needed repairs that cost approx. $450 airbag has never been used and my belief is that airbage malfunction is from assembly. Was told if not repaired, airbag may not deploy.
After the vehicle had been started air bag light would be flashing. This would continue while driving. Had contacted the dealer & informed consumer that it was the air bag module. It had gone bad & needed to be replaced.
Whenever vehicle is started, the air bag panel light would flicker for a while before remaining on. Been to dealer & mechanic & had it repaired. The problem has since returned.
While driving vehicle, stopped at stop sign, made a turn onto another intersection, going out to dinner, was going about 15 mph after making turn, suddenly the air bags in vehicle exploded, vehicle did not hit anything.
