air bags did not deploy air bags did not deploy

dude was stopped in the middle of an intersection and once I seen him I slammed on my brakes and I hit is at 50-55 mph and my air bags did not deploy and my seat belt did not lock up. I went forwards and was injured. if my air bags had deployed I would not have been injured so much. my car is totaled. will not buy another one of these ever.
