While backing into a parking spot, the driver's side, side-view mirror stuck a post. The mirror exploded, projecting shards of glass throughout the car. I, the driver, received a near-blinding puncture to the left eye. A large piece of glass from the mirror stuck the left eye, leaving a laceration.
