I purchased a used 2010 Nissan Sentra sl on July 5, 2014 from a Nissan dealer. The very next day I discovered that when I moved the sun visor down to block the sun rays while driving, each time I moved the visor down or up it hit the rear view mirror. I needed to readjust the mirror before it was useful again. When the sun is just above the horizon it is particularly dangerous because it's impossible to set the visor to block the sun rays from hitting my eyes while driving due to the positioning of the mirror in relation to the visor. This feels very dangerous when driving in heavy traffic because the mirror needs to be reset every time the visor is moved up or down. These seems a major factory installation glitch. I complained to the Nissan service manager where I bought the car. He said he checked other 2010 Nissan Sentra on their used car lot and all of them had the same issue. Why hasn't a factory recall been initiated for this issue? this is dangerous issue for safe driving.
