took to dealer when the car was only a few weeks old. Told me that there was nothing wrong with the car and there were no recalls pertaining to the problem since there was no problem. It seems to be worse when making left turns as i explained at the dealer. The car will move a little out into the intersection and then the throttle goes dead except for idle. There is a very bad hesitation that is very frightening and dangerous. I have also changed lanes and gave it throttle and had the same problem. This morning on making a left turn it scared the heck out of me since it would not accelerate when it should have when i depressed the throttle. I pushed it to the floor and it did not accelerate for a few seconds making it a very frightening situation. I read on toyota forums that it is a problem but see no answers as to how to remedy the situation.
