CarComplaints.com Notes: Owners are reporting that their engines are running out of oil awfully quick. As in, 1 quart every 1,200 miles. Toyota maintains that’s with the “normal” operating range of the 2AZ-FE while owners maintain that’s complete BS.

The issue may be the result of defective piston rings.

I need to find the VCIN number. The accident was not my fault because the other drier was speeding in the wrong lane and hit me head on. I was not at fault. The pictures of the accident are on an old cell phone. The air bag (driver's), did not deploy and my seat belt did not work. I suffered a traumatic brain injury and also an injury to my upper lip when I bit down really hard. There is scar tissue in my upper lip and the area above it--that hasn't gone away in a year and a half. Also, I endured very painful soft tissue damage in my neck and lower back. I was very upset when I read about other Toyota Camry drivers with the exact same problems. I bought the care new from Ira Toyota in Manchester, NH. And, I bought another one which I drive now, it's 2013 Camry.

I have to look for the pictures and the VIN number. I will revisit this Complaint when I get that information.

I trusted in Toyota car so long time. But now, I have totally lost my confidence on it. In 10/4/2010 raining day I drove my camry 2.0E (2008) trough a high way with speed about 80km/hr, suddenly my car slipped and spin then I banned to the road divider. My car badly damaged but unfortunately the air beg didn't function to protect my life.

I spent expensive money to bought this car and the main reasons are I trusted the car can save my life when i am in a serious road accident. But It totally make me frustrated, and I also wonder why the car can easy slip and spin in the raining day since it was advertised so stable and safety on the road.

I really hope that Toyota can give me an answer on this, and compensate on my lost.
