I was driving toward my office, road was wet because of rain. When I reached a signal, I tried to apply brakes but suddenly my car start skidding. I was very close to hitting another car. I changed lanes to avoid the accident and my car hit a fence. There was no check engine light or any warning light. It almost killed me. Not sure where I go and complain about this. I am scares to drive this car again.
I was approaching a light in a 45 mph street and I was not going very fast, about 35 mph. The truck in front slammed on their brakes. I did the same. I was about 2- 2.5 car lengths away from the car in front of me. I had my 3 & 4 year old kids with me. The brakes were hit suddenly as I saw the truck suddenly stop. My brakes engaged then skipped 2-3 times them my car acted like I was hydroplaning on a wet road. No brakes at all. I had enough time to see cars in my rear view mirror coming next to me on my right and cars to my left coming towards me in the in on coming lane. I had no where to go but into the rear of the truck on front of me. I had that much time to see all of this due to the distance I was away from the truck in front of me. I braced myself for impact. I hit very hard. I have diagnosed whiplash and my kids have car seat burns to their necks and complained I hurt their head and necks. My air bag did not deploy
