The contact owns a 1997 Chevrolet Blazer. While driving approximately 40 mph the air bag light illuminated on the dashboard. The contact stated the air bag came out partially from the steering column.the air bag did not deploy, it came out but when back into place. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and they refused to do the work unless the contact pays for the repairs. The vehicle had not been repaired. The failure and current mileage was 164,192.
Slid on icy road doing about 65 mph hit an embankment head on and rolled about 3 times Blazer is totaled all sensors hit in the front and drivers airbag didn't deploy.
While driving at approximately 35 mph the vehicle was involved in a front-end collision. The seat belt did not restrain the driver and the air bags failed to deploy causing the driver's stomach to hit the steering wheel and her head to hit the interior of the vehicle. Vehicle was involved in a head on crash, traveling at 20-25, there was no deployment of the frontal air bags. The seat belts did not restrain the driver or passegner, causing both occupants to hit the windshield. Please provide any furhter information.
The vacuum and egr valve caused the problem with brake failure. Brakes felt like pushing on a brick when going downhill. Was making squealing noises. Had no brakes. Vehicle went over an embankment & flipped. Upon impact, air bags failed to deploy. Dealer informed owner of intermittent problems with brakes. Driver has back problem due to accident.
Was coming to red light after traveling 40mph & proceeded to apply brakes to slow down. Brake pedal went to floor. The vehicle failed to stop. Rearended vehicle in front. The air bags failed to deploy at time of impact.
