At times the A/C, windshield wipers, and dash lights would not work. Chevy dealer could not find the problem, but said the problem had to be occurring at the time they were checking it($350). Took it to a alternator/starter service and was told the battery had a dead cell. New battery plus electrical test($150). Picked up Blazer and drove 1?4 mile and noticed battery not charging, A/C not working, and no dash lights. Returned to alternator, starter service and turned it off. Owner came out, told him of the problem. He started it, everything worked. He move the ignition key slightly, without turning the car off, and electrical problems began again. New ignition switch installed($287). The ignition switch controls all the electrical parts. Now it works like new.
