Constant miss firing. replaced the distributor cap 3 times, replaced the plugs and wires. did not fix the problem. 8 mechanics have looked at it and no one can figure out the problem.

It seems like everything is ok, then it will be wet and rainy for a few days, and it will miss fire non stop, then it wont start. If I pull off the distributor cap and spray with ignition dry and go then all will be good for a while again. A serious pain in the ass and really frustratig when it won't start.

i got my blazer from a little dealer in Florence they told me all the problems rite off the bat that the car had when they got one was the engine miss firing i took it home and a few weeks later the engine started running rough i looked into it and found that the original owner had never changed all the plugs at one time there were 2 from the ford dealer i bought it from 2 ac delcos that were from when the car was bought and something else in the other 2 i changed them with the Bosch Quatro or what ever they are called got some cheap replacement wires cause the #6 was all screwed up and ever since its been firing fine
