Blazers have one thing that they excel at like nothing else, breaking down and being unreliable pieces of garbage. Noticed mine was idling very rough and I had a feeling that the distributor was at fault and they almost always are. Took the cap off only to find the rotor inside was hitting the contacts on the cap!!!
Bushings inside the distributor where completely shoot!! Believe it or not this can happen in just 100,000km.
The fix was to replace the distributor. I should not have to do this to a vehicle with just 217,000km.
