ok you know i was always told when you pay off a car that's when it starts falling apart. i got this car used in april of 06. has been great paid it off April 07 total cost 6000. then last Wednesday go in to go to work 45 minutes away on a good day, and in the message center it kept repeating door ajar and trunk open. my trunk actually popped open and when i went to shut it you could hear the lock going back and forth. when i shut it and got back in the car the lights went out. did the same thing on the way home from work. next morning same thing then that day leaving work did it when i turned it over then did it while i was driving. scared the hell out of me. took it to car x and left it there over night. i was told bad battery. the next day ( afer i had to find someone to cover my shift to take the day off cuz of no transportation) they called me and said they put the new battery in and it was working great. no lights for 2 days. thats right 2 days. i was told that if it happened again it was the bcm. now reading all these complaints i don't want to shell out the money if it could happen again.
