It is sure good I have a garage for fixing my Impala every weekend especially because it is 20 below outside. The cooling system on the Impala is a never ending story. After the last fix is has been almost a whole month since the last cooling problem.
My daughter reported a squealing sound and when I looked inside the accessory belt was wet with coolant and coolant was being thrown off the belt and was noticed on the underside of the hood. Not sure if this is related to the squeal she heard. Most likely a pulley bearing is ceasing and I will be fixing that problem later.
The good news is the water pump is not to hard to replace. I got one on order
and will have more fun working on the lemon this weekend.
