Dash lights go on and off, bells/ buzzers ring, door locks cycle, service ESC on display, Traction OFF on display, low fuel on display, gauges do not work, no power steering, alarm light goes on and off, shifts very hard. Engine does not die but if turned off with ignition key will not restart. All of the above issues start and stop without warning.
Towed to dealer who replaced the BCM. One week later, exact same problem reoccurred. Back to dealer, who has had it for a full week at this writing and been unable to repair the problem. The dealer said that there was a conflict in the high-speed and low-speed bus. Dealer stated that a wire harness behind the dash was pulled too tight but apparently were unable to rectify the problem by repairing the harness. Today told me that they were ordering another BCM.
A repair for the recall for BCM problems was done in the summer of 2015.
This vehicle is dangerously unsafe. It cannot be driven, according to the dealer.
