In August, 1995 consumer began to experience brake failure. Vehicle would pull left or right, or if there was a hard stop it would result in extended stopping distance. Dealership cannot duplicate problem, and suggested that consumer take vehicle some where else. Also, consumer owned a Suburban 93, and experienced similar problem. However, dealership bought vehicle back from consumer.
ABS; when applying brakes in normal conditions, the pedal gets hard and brakes fail to stop the vehicle, causing an extended stopping distance before vehicle comes to a stop.
Ongoing problem with door; whenever automatic switch is used it causes door not to close properly. Also, ABS failed to operate. Vehicle was taken on three occasions to dealer shop, and consumer was informed that nothing could be found. In addition, door would not open from the inside, consumer would have to open door from the outside to let herself out of the vehicle.

RA95026; poor brake performance; brakes feel real spongy and the braking distance takes twice as long. This happens while driving on regular road conditions, no inclement weather. The dealer is not able to find a problem with the brakes. Dealer stated that the system is working normally.
While applying brakes the ABS system would be subject to an intermittent failure. (EA95-026). This would cause the brakes to have extended stopping distance. This happened while going uphill on damp pavement. Will be taken vehicle to dealer.
On wet pavement ABS brakes are faulty, vehicle fails to stop when brakes are applied. Dealer found no fault with ABS brakes. Owner was almost involved in an accident.
Upon making a sudden or a gradual stop on wet or dry pavement consumer noticed on some occasions the pedal traveled to the floorboard, causing extended stopping distance. Consumer noted there was limited pulstation in the brake pedal. At times, resulting in the vehicle skdiding, once resulting in a collision. Consumer has contacted the dealer, dealer has not replaced any parts.
Owner was driving on the highway applied the brakes and they didn't respond at all. Due to the brakes not responding, the owner hit another car and then the truck slowed down and came to a hold.
