as soon as i get off the freeway, the suburban begins to shift hard from 1st to 2nd gear. doesn't happen during city driving. code p1870 (trans shifting) is on, read from my scanner code reader. if i turn off the car and turn it back on, it shifts normally, somehow clearing the computer or something? anyone have any solutions? i think the valves get stuck. valve body and torque converter have been replaced.
