I have had a constant problem with the fan belt squeaking before and after replacing the alternator, idler pulley, tension pulley and the fan belt 3 times. I have heard that it could be a misaligned power steering pulley but it looks fine. I asked a service manager and he said that perhaps there was a recall regarding this issue. Belts last about 250 miles and start squeaking. It is an annoying sound, why doesn't someone have the answer?
Thanks.
