The contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Suburban. While driving approximately 60 mph, the contact noticed that the cruise control took an extremely long time to activate. When the cruise control finally activated, the vehicle jerked and made a loud revving noise. He then noticed that the RPM increased from 1,800 to approximately 4,300. He took the vehicle to the dealer and they acknowledged the failure, but could not determine the cause. The manufacturer was unable to provide any assistance.
